One day, the college student Mizuho Suga receives news that her former high school classmate, Origuchi Haruka, has passed away. At the funeral, Mizuho is shocked to find out that Origuchi had told her mother that they were best friends when they'd hardly exchanged words during high school. It also turns out that Origuchi got pregnant, then had an abortion and now her mother wants Mizuho's help to find the guy responsible. In order to unravel this mystery, Mizuho starts contacting her other classmates in high school and follow the traces that Origuchi left behind.
