From ADV:Soma is a Vaizard, a protector of priceless treasures found in ancient tombs and ruins. As a hired hand for novice archaeologist Asuka, his security skills are on loan to the entire world, as he must save humanity from the evil scheming of tomb raiders and power mongers. The magical weapons he must protect have the capability of destroying humanity, and this Vaizard must fight his way through mummies and monsters to retrieve these ancient artifacts from the hands of those that wish the world harm.
