The story follows Tatsuhiro SatoÂÂÂ, a university dropout entering his fourth year of unemployment. He leads a reclusive life as a hikikomori until he meets Misaki Nakahara, a mysterious girl who is determined to help SatÅ out of his reclusiveness. But Sato suspects the Nippon Hikikomori KyÅÂÂÂkai (Japanese Hikikomori Association), the hidden face of the TV channel NHK is conspiring against japanese young men in order to change everyone into a hikikomori by broadcasting moe anime.
